Mr. Muggs was a chimpanzee that the Reverend Jim Jones kept in a cage near his cottage. It was rumored that small children were placed in the cage with Mr. Muggs as a form of punishment.
His cage is the only structure still standing on the original grounds of the People's Temple in Guyana. 
In fact, Jim Jones's raised enough money to open his first church in Indianapolis as a door to door monkey salesman.

Puckett in Connecticut at a beautiful olde theatre from the early 1900s. I was sandwiched betwixt my father 
and a large retarded man! He dazzled us with tales of family, Elvis, & a wonderful story about a trip to a tailor shop in Mexico to get the Union Gap costumes made. One of my all time favorite vocalists... Ladies & gentlemen... The one... The only... GARY PUCKETT!!!!!!
