Welcome To My Life

When I was younger I would often find myself in

 situations where i would be putting my clothes on after 

getting busy with a chick and her dad would start 

slamming on the door screaming about how he doesn't 

want me in his house. Every time that happened I would 

morph into a doberman pinscher and attack him.

Groupies '87

I just watched an episode of Oprah Winfrey from 1987 with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley featuring famed groupies Jackie Collins and Pamela Des Barres discussing the subject of just that. Groupies. Good watch. These two caught my eye.

Here is another  girl I like from an episode of Geraldo from around the same time in which Gene and Paul + Willie Nelson delve a little deeper with such subjects as love, rejection and marriage. But it's mostly about fucking groupies. Some guy asks Gene if he has ever written any songs about groupies. This guy had obviously never heard a single song by THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD, KISS!!!!! Another good watch.

Exclusive song: Andy Animal - Now

My rendition of Now by the great Dion DiMucci, Originally from his masterpice album Wonder where I'm Bound. I listened to this one quite a bit when my good friend Jonathan Toubin was in the hospital in Portland Oregon after a terrible accident involving a car crashing through his hotel room and pinning him against a wall in the middle of his sleep. After the news came that he miraculously awakened from the whole ordeal it made perfect sense that this song was for him. I was more than happy to sing this with my newly formed Andy Animal Family Band at his big comeback show at Brooklyn Bowl. Recorded in Los Angeles with former NYC band/good old pals The Witnesses. Bonnie Bloomgarden on Bass and vocals, Darian Zahedi on guitar and Oakley Munson on drums, organ and xylophone. Oakley produced it as well. I'm very happy with it.

DJ Trickery

When I used to DJ a lot, people would come up to me and ask if I had any Hip Hop or R&B. I would say "I got some R&B." and show them a Fats Domino record. They would get confused and walk away. Then there were the people who would ask me (all good DJs get this one) if i could "play something we can dance to" as I would be spinning some righteous dance music like T.Rex or what have you. I would usually just stare at them until they got uncomfortable and walked away. Sometimes if I could just tell that they were gonna ask a stupid question, I would put on my headphones and hold up my finger like 'HOLD ON A SEC' and just keep doing that until they lost patience and walked away.

Long Island Teen Scene: Me & The Others

I hounded my old man for years to track down this single. Apparently there were 12 made. a few years ago he finally went to his high school reunion and ran into the singer who happily sent 
him an MP3 copy. New Hyde Park Long Island's own ME & THE 
OTHERS!!! My dad was the bass player and backup vocalist. 

Recorded in 65 or 66 at Ultra-Sonic Studios in Hempstead, Long Island by a man 
with no legs. 

Yes I will eventually record my own versions of these TWO killer teen bumout anthems!

It sounds like a combination of ABBA, The Beatles & The Raspberries. The video is one of the most surreal things I've seen in a while. I thought these guys were lame when I was a kid. I take it back.
